Mary M. Womack, resident of Corsicana, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Heritage Oaks West Retirement at the age of 89. She was born on July 16, 1921 in Howard, Kansas to Nichols and Gracie Momma. Mary received her LVN Certification from Navarro College and worked for fifteen plus years caring for residents at the Twilight Home in Corsicana.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Nichols and Gracie Momma and her husband William Daniel Womack. Survivors include her children: Donna and Gerald Atkeisson, Rusty and Linda Womack, and Nancy Sherrard. Grandchildren: Mike Humphries and wife Kelly, Karl Humphries and wife Louann, Lori Hippard and husband Gilbert, Kevin Sherrard and wife Stacy, Stacey Sanchez and husband Danny, and Joanna Neff and husband Keith. Eleven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Griffin - Roughton Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Hamilton - Beeman Cemetery with Pastor Rick Lamb of Northside Baptist Church officiating.
