CRABTREE, CARRIE TROXEL died 13 Feb 1982
Carrie Troxel Crabtree, 83, of Rt. 3, Oneida, passed away Saturday morning, February 13, at the Scott County Hospital.
She was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church in Cincinnati, O.
The daughter of the late J. B. Troxel and the late Louisa Caddell Troxel, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Crabtree; a sister, Georgia Harness; and three brothers: Roy, Harlan, and Charley Troxel.
She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Cebern (Jean) Douglas of Rt. 2, Oneida, and Mrs. Dick (Frances) Stephens of Oneida; two sons: Warren Crabtree of Rt. 3, Oneida, and Don Crabtree of Columbia; three sisters: Mrs. Virgil (Frances) Simpson of Somerset, Ky., and Mrs. Paul (Susie) King of Kingston, and Dillie Reed of Marietta, Ga.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several neices and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, at the West-Murley Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. James E. Marcum and Rev. Milford Cecil officiating. The Gospel Light Quartet sang. Burial was in the Hazel Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Ron Sharp, Paul King, Jr., Charles J. King, David A. King, Kevin Crabtree, and Michael Douglas. West-Murley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
