Lorraine Millet Harris, born July 6, 1930, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at the age of 92. She was a native of Morganza, LA and a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Lorraine was a founding parishioner of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She loved cooking for friends and family, birdwatching and gardening. But above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family. She is survived by her children, Jeff Harris (Lisa), Jamie Tuminello (C.J.), Andrea Cary (David) and Brett Harris; grandchildren, Reagan Snow (John), Angela Haase (Jerimy), Ben Tuminello, Katie Rabalais (Chris), Sarah Heitstuman (Bryce), Katie Cary, and Lauren Harris; seven great-grandchildren with another one on the way; and a host of other family members and friends. Lorraine is preceded in death by her loving husband, James B. Harris; parents, Joseph and Marie Millet; sisters, Doris Barbier, Evelyn Dayries, Marlene Lee, Tuttie Breaux, and Bernice Maggio; and brothers, Ed Millet and Gerald Millet. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from 8:30am until 9:40am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11441 Goodwood Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, at 10am. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to caregiver and special friend, Gloria Boston, Dr. Lara Falcon and her nurse, Vespa, Dr. Joseph Deumite, Hospice of Baton Rouge, and all the great staff at Lake Sherwood Village, for all of the loving care given to Mrs. Lorraine.
