TISHOMINGO-- Services for Henry Black, 84, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Clark Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tom Caldwell officiating. Interment will be at Tishomingo Cemetery.
Black was born Aug. 3, 1916, in Carter County to John and Annie Smith Black and died April 20, 2001, at his residence.
He married Clara Viola Davis June 11, 1932, in Tishomingo. She preceded him in death on Aug. 17, 1975. Others preceding him in death were five brothers and three sisters.
Black was a lifelong resident of the Tishomingo area and worked for the Tishomingo Water Department for many years.
He is survived by a son, four daughters, 17 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services under the direction of Clark Funeral Service.
