Born, October 16, 1910 in Greensburg, Indiana, he was the son of Ora L. and Lacie Mae (Michaels) Barnes.
He had a retired employee at Delco Remy Co. in Anderson, IN. He was a Veteran of WW II serving in the Army Air Corps. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Willa Mae Barnes, Greensburg, Daisy A. Myers, Indianapolis; 1 brother, Earl D. Barnes, Frankfort, In.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Ora Barnes, Jr., William Ernest Barnes.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2005 at the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg with Rev. Jamalyn Peigh-Williamson officiating.
Internment will be held in the South Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Greensburg United Methodist Church.
