Mrs. John W. Tuite, 59, of 153 E. North St. died Sunday at 10 p.m. at Cottage Hospital after an extended illness.
The former Susie Fant was born Sept. 1, 1906 at Woodland, Miss., and had lived in Galesburg since 1940. She operated a beauty shop for 20 years until her retirement in June, 1965.
She married John W. Tuite at Macomb Aug. 12, 1954. He survived with a son, Ernest Brunner, of Galesburg; a daughter, Mrs. Keith Sands, of Galesburg; two brothers, Quinton Fant, of Woodland; and Weston B. Fant, of Meridian, Miss.; a sister, Mrs. Edward Davis, of Louisville, Miss.; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services were at Linwood Cemetery.
