Mrs. Edward LaForce of 54 North Champlain Street, died this morning at her home. Besides her husband she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Emory Abare of Charlotte, Mrs. Nelson Myers of Burlington, Mrs. Charles Shortsleeves of Richmond, Mrs. Stanley Dartt of Hinesburg; two sons, F.W. LaForce of Coroapalis, Pa,; and Arthur LaForce of Charlotte; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Rock of Peru, N.Y., Mrs. David Abare of Burlington and Mrs. Nelson Soulier of Wallingford; two brothers E.J. Bissonette of Burlington and Fred Bissonette of Malletts Bay; several nieces and nephews; 33 grandchildren and by 40 great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edward LaForce were held at 9 yesterday morning in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, the Rev. Patrick T. Hannon celebrating a high mass of requiem. The Rt. Rev. Monsignor Patrick C. Brennan, P.A. read the committal prayers in St. Joseph's cemetery. The bearers were Carlton Abare, Merritt Dartt, Gerald Shortsleeves, Archie Myers, Kenneth Myers, Carl Devoid.
