Mother of Robie Brown, who was the son of Donie Arnett. They were not married at the time.
Mary married Amos Coburn on Feb. 28, 1921, in Magoffin Co., KY. They had a son named Hager (1922-1990) and other children before Mary died in ~1928. Hager continued to live with his father but the other children were raised by relatives.
Mary was 16 in the 1920 census:
1920 Magoffin Co., KY: Brown, David, 64; Victory, 52; Adam, 18; Mary, 16 (shows her as married but her name is listed as Mary Brown). (Arnett is scratched out) Roby, age 3/12 mos.; listed as granddaughter (should be grandson).
Some family trees online show that Mary died in 1928 but I not yet found proof.
