Isaac Wright Cornman, 61, one of Palm Beach County's pioneers in newspaper work and for years carrier of The Post for residents in the south end of the city, died Monday morning at a local hospital following a heart attack at his home in Boynton Beach last Thursday. Mr. Cornman came here in 1910 from Carlisle, Pa., and worked on the Palm Beach Daily News for two years before joining the staff of "The Palm Beach County," later change to The Post, as pressman and all-round printer. In 1915, he operated a dairy on Okeechobee Road, later moving it to the south end of the city, with the main plant located in the vicinity of the present Monroe Drive. He sold the dairy in early boom days and returned to The Post as proofreader. Because of failing eyesight he transferred to morning route which he held for the last 11 years. He was noted for his excellent delivery of the paper. In 1922 he moved to Boynton and commuted daily to his work. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Estella B. Cornman; two sons, Foster H. and Joseph B.; two daughters, Mrs. Estelle Van Antwerp, this city, and Mrs. Mary Lyman, Boynton; two brothers, Joe Cornman of Towson, Md., and Will Cornman of Altoona, Pa.; and three sisters, Mrs. C.C. Fagan, Carlisle, and Miss Mary Cornman, Tyrone, Pa., and Miss Lilian Cornman, Baltimore. Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock Wednesday at the Ferguson Chapel with the Rev. Jack Davis, supply pastor of the First Methodist Church of Boynton officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
