The funeral services for Mrs. Flora A. Cagle were held at the Christian Church in Chelan yesterday afternoon.
Mrs. Cagle was laid to rest in the Chelan cemetery beside her husband who died in 1912.
Flora A. McMillen was born in Cedar Co., Missouri, on January 29, 1856.
In 1875 she was united in marriage to C. F. Cagle, six children were born to this union all of whom are living.
In 1883 Mr. and Mrs. Cagle were among the early pioneers of Lincoln Co. Mrs. Cagle came to Chelan with her husband in 1908 and suffered a stroke of paralysis from which she never recovered. After Mr. Cagle's death in 1912 she had been cared for by two of her daughters living with the youngest, Mrs. C. C. Cole at Spokane for four years and spending the remaining years at the home of her eldest daughter, Mrs. w. A. Hildreth of Beebe, who showed her devotion by the loving care she bestowed upon her mother during these years.
She leaves six children, Mrs. Laura Hildreth of Beebe, Mrs. Lura Dell Cooley of Berkeley, Ca., L. A. Cagle of Spokane, W. J. Cagle of Chelan, Anna Jane Cole of Des Moines, Iowa, Lester J. Cagle of Wenatchee; two brothers, C. E. McMillen of Harrington, Wa., Alvin McMillen of Roslyn, Wa., also 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cagle united with the Christian Church in her girlhood days and was a charter member of the Christian Church here in Chelan. She passed away August 7, 1928 at the home of her daughter at the age of 72 years, 6 months and 9 days.
