Zelda Mae Blair, of Emporia, entered into rest while surrounded by family, Monday, April 24, 2017 at Victoria Falls Assisted Living in Andover, Kansas She was 92.
Zelda was born Sunday, May 18, 1924 in Council Grove, Kansas to Anthony Joseph and Hazel Grace (Drake) Eisenhauer. Zelda was awarded Employee of the Year during her service at Newman Regional Health where she worked in housekeeping.
Zelda is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ellis "Pooch" Eldred Blair; brothers, Ed Eisenhauer, AJ Eisenhauer, Jr., and Harry D. Eisenhauer; sisters, Ruth Ilene Young, Doris Ann Franklin and Mary Grace Holcom. She is survived by her son, Gary (Stephanie) Blair; daughter, Barbara McClelland; sister, Sharon Kae Holcom ; grandchildren, Julie Ann (Scott) Dreasher, Russell Dale (Christy) Jarvis, Matthew Daniel (Jo Ann) Blair, Daniel Ellis Blair, Nicole Victoria Blair, Neil Verbeck, Pernon Warren, Matthew Warren, and Elaina Warren; great grandchildren, Ivy Warren, Jonaus Anderson, Ian Anderson and Jennifer Bacon.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Alan Barus at 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Sunrise Freewill Baptist Church. Inurnment will follow at Cottonwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice 2622 W Central Ave, Wichita, KS 67203.
