Ruth Ileane Young, 85, of Salina, passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016. She was born Oct. 12, 1931, in Council Grove, the daughter of Anthony and Hazel (Drake) Eisenhauer.
Ruth worked as a sales clerk for the Homesite Improvement Center and then as an assistant at the Young Chiropractic Clinic. She enjoyed being with family and playing bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Survivors: daughter, Debra Kirby; sons, Ronald Young, and Richard Young; sisters, Zelda Blair, Doris Franklin and Sharon Holcom; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Service: 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Cremation was chosen. There will be no visitation.
Memorials: Salina Regional Health Center Foundation.
