James Adams, pioneer of this section, age 84, died Thursday noon, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sarah Stone. Mr. Adams had been ill for the past two years. He came here from California about 40 years ago and has made his home here since that time. He lived for years on his ranch some 13 miles from Chelan, up the Antoine, which he still owned at the time of his death.
The deceased is survived by his widow, three daughters, Anna, Della and Sarah and one son, Tom Adams.
