Lee Hardy, 92, a homemaker, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Winscott Road Funeral Chapel, 1001 Winscott Rd., Dr. Michael Dean officiating. Burial: Annetta Cemetery, Annetta. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Fort Worth Pregnancy Center, P.O. Box 11437, Fort Worth, Texas 76110; or to your favorite charity.
Lee Hardy was born Jan. 20, 1915, in Stokesdale, N.C. She moved to Fort Worth six years ago from La Porte, where she had resided since 1959. A consummate storyteller, she brought joy and humor to any gathering. Lee enjoyed reading, painting and attending services at Travis Avenue Baptist Church. Her wit, wisdom and southern charm will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by a son, Mike Hardy.
Survivors: Daughter, Pat Hardy of Fort Worth; sons, John Hardy and his wife, Elaine, of Stilwell, Kan., and Charles Judson Hardy of Houston; grandchildren, Tracy, Scott, Mark and David Hardy; and five siblings.
