Emmaline Lambert, 88, died Jan. 25, 2005, at her home, Hutchinson.
She was born Sept. 11, 1916, at Turon, the daughter of William and Alice Compton Welch. She was a 1935 graduate of Turon High School. She was a former Pretty Prairie resident, moving to Leoti in 1947, and to Hutchinson after retiring in 1993. She helped her husband farm and ranch, and was employed at Three Way Stores and the Wichita County Clinic, all at Leoti.
She belonged to Forest Park Presbyterian Church.
