Patsy was a small but fierce person, had no fear about anything, and was known as a very energetic person. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. Patsy was a surrogate mother to many people, opening her home to about fifty people throughout her lifetime. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
Patsy is survived by her children, Teresa Wood of Nocona, Texas, David Lassiter and his wife, Vickie, of Celina, Texas, Sherie Ingram of Arlington, Texas, and Tonya Presley and her husband, Jerry, also of Arlington; her grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; her sisters, Margie Adams, Doris Cooper, Dixie Peacock, and Judy Starr; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dean Lassiter, her sister, Alma Hicks, and her beloved companion, Mario Cabral.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Bethel Baptist Church, 8382 County Road 128, Celina, Texas, officiated by Pastor Cliff Lester.
A visitation will be held here two hours prior, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Interment follows at Cottage Hill Cemetery.
