24 Apr 2010-Information from JD Day, along with photos of John's mother's headstone, indicates that John was cremated and his ashes were buried at his mother's grave site. It is presumed that his mother, Anna A. (Gilbert) Stroops & father Robert Lee Stroops, Sr. were, at some point, divorced and she then married Martin M. Brush. Further research will be made. Kaye
