She was born December 6, 1943 in West Virginia the daughter of the late George Willard and Ada Madeline Luzader Apperson.
Sandra enjoyed playing pool and all outdoor activities, including camping, hunting, fishing, and picking berries. She was a loving mother and a caring friend. Her family was most important to her. Her arms were always wide open for whomever needed unconditional love.
Surviving are her lifelong partner of 34 years Lloyd "Larry" Passinger; her children, William, Wayne, and Edythe Swanson; Jacqueline, Joy, James, Betty, Susan, and Patty Hallowell; Marcie Kitchell; Bonnie Darling; Jason and Larry Passinger; 45 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Joy Garrett, Beverly Rickerson; a brother, James Apperson; and her God children, Carol and Sandra Ferringer; Joseph and David DePane; and Cynthia Cook who she raised for her best friends, Jacqueline and Joseph DePane after they passed.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Apperson; Willard "Tink" Apperson; and a sister, Paulette Sue Giomento.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
