Beverly K. Rickerson, 67, of 24 Broadhead Ave. passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa.

She was born April 3, 1949 in Simpson, WV., a daughter of the late George W. and Madeline Luzader Apperson.

Prior to retirement she had worked for Chautauqua County Social Services in Jamestown where she lovingly cared for vulnerable children and disabled individuals for many years.

Beverly is survived by her sister of Bemus Point, a brother of Fort Washington, Md., two grandchildren of Jamestown, a daughter in law of Jamestown, a stepson of Jamestown, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved cat "Gracie".

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Neal S. Rickerson, Sr., whom she married July 9, 1994 and who passed away on May 26, 2000; two sisters Sandra G. Swanson and Sue Paulette Giomento; two brothers Donald F. and Willard J. Apperson; and a stepson Ross E. Rickerson.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in the Lind Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in Lake View Cemetery.

Visitation will not be observed.
