Born: June 4th 1934 in Roane County. She lived in Elkview, WV. 87 years old, passed away on May 14, 2022 after an extended illness.
Preceded in death by Dayton Siders , Companion. Parents Roy Ray Armstead Sr. and Ruth Lea Patton Armstead. Brothers , Roy Ray Jr. Frederick and Warren. Sisters , Mildred Lyons and Mary Etta Smith, daughter Sandy Faber, Grandsons, Albert Hunt Jr. and Richard Westfall. Great Granddaughter Victoria Linn Westfall.
Survived by daughters Danette Hunt (Albert), Anita Taylor (James), Debra Vaughn (Mark). Brothers, Calvin (Carol), Paul (Pat) and Charles (Mindy). Sisters Janice Spencer, Kay Groves-Boggs and Ruth Kincaid (Dale). Nine Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren, also many Nieces and Nephews.
She was an avid reader and loved to crochet. She retired from Bert Wolfe Ford in 1999.
The service will begin 11am, Thursday, May 19, 2022 with Pastor Dale Wolfingbarger officiating. Burial will follow Spencer-Armstead Cemetery, Wills Creek.
Visitation will be 10am - 11am at the funeral home.
