Mrs. Jackie Voncile Busbin Hampton, 90, of Waterloo passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at her residence.

A graveside service was held at 2:00 P.M. May 10, 2022 at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Shiflett officiating.

Shad Hampton, Will Sheffield, Noah Sheffield, Nathan Chapman, Ty Chapman, Cameron Youngblood, Sarah Hampton and James Black will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Hampton was born October 30, 1931 in Irwin County to the late H. H. Busbin and Tyce Etta Veal Busbin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her fourteen brothers and sisters. Mrs. Hampton was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church of Chula. She was formerly employed with Mildred's Beaty Shop, Manhattan Shirt Company, Coats and Clark and C.C. Nursery. She loved flowers and enjoyed working in her yard. Mrs. Hampton loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Mrs. Hampton is survived by her children, Sue and Shorty Britt, Mike and Janice Hampton, Joey and Debbie Hampton, Bruce and Dorothy Hampton and Vicki and Steve Sandifer; eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren and her sister, Norma Baker.
