Lucille N. Hunt, 72, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at St. Louis, MO.

Mrs. Hunt was born on Dec. 10, 1935, at Rock Creek, the daughter of Elijah Hoffman and Bessie Lashley Hoffman Walker. She was a member of Pioneer Freewill Baptist Church at Ash Flat.

She is survived by two sons, Tracey Leach of St. Louis and Steven Tharp of Oats, Mo.; three daughters, Clara and Wayne Rector of St. Genevieve, Mo., Donna Woodfin of Oklahoma City and Carmen Jackson of Lesterville, Mo.; brother, Oscar Hoffman of North Fork, Ariz.; eight sisters, Louise Hill of Patterson, Mo., Alice Mueller of Oregon, Martha Copeland of Michigan, Margaret McCrocklin of Arizona, and Ruby Hoffman, Bonnie Adams, Nettie Lou Morgan and Ollie Hill; 10 grand-children; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah Hoffman and Bessie Lashley Hoffman Walker; stepfather, Russell Walker; husband, Lloyd "Bud" Hunt; three brothers, Frank, Alfred and George Hoffman; three sisters, Julie Lashley, Viney Moody and Florence Bearden; and a stepdaughter, Rexanne Albrecht.

Funeral services were in Pioneer Freewill Baptist Church at Ash Flat. Burial was in Turkey Pen Cemetery near Highland. Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland.
