Alice P. Mueller, 86, passed away March 29, 2014. Alice was born to Alijah and Bessie Hoffman March 24, 1928, in Sitka, Ark. She was the fifth of nine children. Alice married Rawland "Bud" Mueller in 1973. She worked for Jeld Wen for more than 25 years and was the first female to work inside the mill. Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to cook for her family and enjoyed gardening and canning with her husband, Bud. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Katrina Brown; granddaughter, Wendy and her husband Robert Gray; grandson, Aaron Brown; great-granddaughter, Joce Gray; step-children, Lonnie Mueller, Lenora Mueller, Marcia Mueller and Lisa Mueller; step-grandchildren, Trish, Calvin, Brian, Stephanie, Courtney, Beau and Jasmine; special friends, Deanna and Tim Weise, Rick and Cheryl Lane, Laura and John Gray and Sylvia Pinney; and Missy, her cat. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
