Nancy Wolf Hutcheson data from Estella Hoffman (who was a great, great grand daughter of Richard) indicated that Richard and Nancy were probably buried in the Hutcheson cemetery, where son, John W. , his 2nd wife, Nannie, and John's son, Samuel, were buried. This was the family cemetery which was located on part of their acreage above the White river high water mark. At the time of a visit in 2007, only 3 stones were recognizable (John W., Nannie, and Sam). The cemetery was very overgrown. Richard and Nancy Hutcheson are Earlene's 3rd great grandparents.
