The Hutcheson Cemetery is on the west side of White River, south of Norfork. The cemetery is three miles south of Arkansas 344 (Push Mountain Road) near the southern end of the Martin Springs Road (CR 108). It is in the edge of the White River Bottoms near the lower end of the Rapids, also known as the Steamboat Rapids. It is on land that was originally part of the Hutcheson Farm.
The cemetery has probably not had any new interments since the first decade of the twentieth century. There are only three tombstones in the cemetery, but there is also one cairn that doesn't have any identification. The cemetery is totally overgrown with bridal wreath shrubs and underbrush with briers and and vines tangled in the underbrush. It takes considerable effort to even locate the three marked graves. Around 2000, there was some cleaning performed on the cemetery, but nature has now erased that effort. Some individuals that saw the cemetery in a partially cleaned up stage indicated that there were fieldstones that seemed to be marking graves and slightly sunken places which would also indicate grave sites. The number of unmarked graves in this cemetery is unknown. Research by Earlene, a descendant of John W. Hutcheson, points to John possibly having had a wife named Mary in addition to the documented wife, Nannie E. Hutcheson. If so, Mary Hutcheson probably died around 1870-1871, and was probably buried in this cemetery. Earlene also points out that research from another family historian indicates that Richard and Nancy Wolf Hutcheson are also probably buried in the Hutcheson Cemetery.
