Doris was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church for over 60 years. She was a lifetime member of VFW post 1693 Hobart Beach in New Albany, IN.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Edward Cole; six brothers; a sister; and three great-grandchildren.
Doris is survived by her seven children, Sharon Robel, C. Thomas Cole (Payao), Marilyn Cresap, Joseph Cole (Jennifer), and Barbara Dearinger (Dennis); a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Her celebration of life service will be on Monday, May 2nd at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens –West Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday, May 1st .
