WALTER THOMPSON RITES TOMORROW
Walter J. Thompson, 82 of 310 N. Rubey, retired carpenter and cabinet maker, died at noon Saturday at the Samaritan Hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Hutton Funeral Home and burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Thompson was born Nov. 7, 1883 in La Plata, the son of Frank M. and Jane (Cupp) Thompson.
He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jessie Thompson; one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Enochs of Macon; one son, Raymond of Phoenix, Arizona; and one granddaughter, Miss Mary Thompson of Delaplane, Virginia.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home until the hour of service.
