CLOVIS, N.M. - Ralph G. Banister, 91, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today in The Chapel. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens by Muffley Funeral Home.

Mr. Banister was born Sept. 28, 1916, to Sylvester and Pearl Jerman Banister in Floyd. He owned Ralph's Real Service - Sinclair gas, retired from AT & SF Railway as a machinist and ranched south of Taiban.

Survivors include a son, George Banister of Clovis; three daughters, Wanda DeFoor of Clovis and Pat Hamill and Sharon Franco, both of Roswell; two stepsons, Bobby Davis and Tommy Davis; a brother, Chock Banister of Clovis; three sisters, Melzine Worm and Ruth Freeman, both of Clovis, and Alma Silvertooth of Valleyview, Texas; 19 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
