Services for Inez Robinson will be Friday, April 22, 2022, at 11:00, at Duffee Baptist Church in Little Rock, MS. Brother Matthew Hitt will be officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, April 21, 2022, at the Webb & Stephens Funeral Home in Union from 6 to 8 pm.
Mrs. Robinson, 94, died Monday, April 18 in Columbus, Georgia, at the Columbus Hospice House. Inez was a long-time Sunday school teacher. She had a magical touch with children, and she had an in-home nursery for over 20 years. She also loved yard work and always had a beautiful, manicured yard. She used to say that she would rather work in her yard than to eat.
She is survived by
her daughter Pam Daley;
granddaughter Tara Larson;
5 great grandchildren Savannah Martin, Sasha Martin, Haley Still, Mason Murdock, and Drake Rush;
4 great- great grandchildren Allison Gilmore, Alivia Still, Brian Gilmore, and Abigail Martin;
2 sisters Audrey Strange and Lyndol Ivey;
numerous nieces and nephews
including a very special niece and caretaker, Patsy McMullan.
She was preceded in death by
her parents Molly and Lacy Alexander;
her husband James L. Robinson;
a granddaughter Jody Rush;
5 sisters Berniece Huddleston, Daree Kilpatrick, Shirley Johnson, Helen Alexander, and Martha Moore, and
3 brothers Wendell, Bill, and Victor Alexander.
Pallbearers will be Chris Ethridge, Paul McMullan, Dave Miller, David Alexander, Alvin Alexander, Anthony Hasnmuller, and Glen Hairson.
