Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Phalda Throneberry Smith, Cowan; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Hodsi, Winchester, and Miss Dena Raye Smith, Cowan; three sisters, Miss Allene Smith, Cowan, and Mrs. R. L. Spencer and Mrs. Charles Brown, Winchester; a brother, Charles Smith, Mobile, Alabama; and a grandchild.
