Wilma Allene Smith, 66, of 207 Forgy Street, Cowan, died June 26 at Methodist Hospital of Middle Tennessee in Winchester following an extended illness.
She was retired from the Department of Human Services.
Born in Cowan on May 18, 1924, she was the daughter of Leo Smith and Alta Cooper Smith.
She was a member of Cowan Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Services were June 27 at Watson-Gamble Funeral Home with Bro. Lonnie Johnson officiating. Burial was in Montgomery Cemetery in Cowan.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Betty Spencer and Mrs. Gladys Brown, both of Winchester; and several nieces and nephews.
