Thomas Lewis Daniel was born on August 6, 1868, in Alabama. He was the son of Hartford Moss Daniel and Elisabeth Daniel née Williams of Randolph County, AL.
Sometime before the middle of 1890, he married Amanda Elizabeth née Wiggins (1865-1899) and they had four children together: John Monroe (1891-1971), Dessie Belle (1893-1981), May Belle (b. 1895), Effie Belle (1898-1969). Wife Amanda died in a house fire in 1899.
Thomas Lewis Daniel married Sarah Ann Jane née Gore (1877-1954) in March 1900 and together they had one son: James Creamer Daniel (1901-1962?). Thomas and Sarah divorced and she remarried about 1910.
Thomas also married again to a woman named Emma Kate née Jones (she is listed as his wife on the 1920 Federal Census). By this time Thomas was living in Antlers, Pushmataha Co., OK.
Thomas Lewis Daniel died in Pushmataha County, OK in 1936.
