Harlan L. Hammer Dies, Was Lifelong Resident of Area
Harlan L. Hammer, 47,of 117 Harrison Homes court, died at St. Francis hospital at 12:20 p.m. Monday after a prolonged illness.
A resident of the Peoria area all of his life, Mr. Hammer was born at Princeville July 25, 1903 (2). He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hammer.
Surviving are his parents; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Frame, Mrs. Erma Short, Mrs. Letha Lukehart and Mrs. Iva Ceas, all of Peoria, and three brothers, Dewy Hammer of Princeville, Clyde Hammer of Moline and Verlin Hammer of Peoria.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home in Princeville and burial will be in the Princeville cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p. m. today.
