Looney married Fern Culver Jan. 20, 1939. They lived in La Porte until 1960 when they moved to Pasadena, Texas. They had two children---Lilly Jean Beal Engleman and Ronnie Edward Beal. Ronnie passed away May 4, 2000 and is buried at the Masonic Cemetery, Caldwell, Burleson Co., Texas
