Leesville Daily Leader, Sunday, Oct. 29, 1995, pg. 2A Funeral services for Lonnie L. Beal, 83, of Pitkin will be held today, Oct. 29, at 11 a.m. in the six Mile Pentecostal Church with the Revs. J. J. Sanders, Louis Robertson Jr, and L. E. Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery in LaCamp under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder. Beal died Thursday, Oct. 26, at 12:30 p. m. in Alexandria. Born in avinger, Texas, Beal worked 20 years in the Houston, Texas, area as a switchman for southern Pacific Railroad. He lived in the Pitkin area for approximately 17 years. Beal was a member of he Six Mile Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife, Erna Violet beal of Pitkin; three sons, J. W. Deason of Pitkin, Thomas G. Deason of Babb, Mont., and Billy G. Beal of Houston, Tes, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
