Mrs. Anna Lowe, 86, wife of Robert W. Lowe, 170 N. Davis St., died at her home at 10:15 AM today. She was the daughter of William S. and Annie Burdett and was born June 21, 1880, in Davis County. She had been a resident of Ottumwa for the past 44 years. She was a member of The Finley Ave., Baptist Church and of the Spanish-American War veterans auxiliary. She was married to Robert W. Lowe, November 4, 1902, in Ottumwa. He survives her. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Charles Schwartz, Ottumwa Route 2; Mrs. W. R. Umbaugh, Hedrick; Mrs. Belva Spurgeon, Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Lyle Oiler (sp), Ottumwa, and three brothers W. K. Burdett, Ottumwa; Ed Burdett, Drakesville, and Harry Burdett, Belknap. Several nieces and nephews also survived, she was preceded in death by her parents. The body is at the Johnson funeral Chapel awaiting completion of arrangements
