Troy -- Olga Knapstad, a resident of Troy for the past 37 years, died of causes incident to aging Sunday morning at Northgate Hospital at Seattle where she had been visiting her daughters. She was 87.

Mrs. Knapstad was born June 14, 1895, at Salix, Iowa, to Chris and Kirstine Sorenson.

On Oct. 16, 1920, she married Nickoli S. Knapstad at Kent, Wash. The couple lived there for many years then moved to Troy in 1945. Knapstad died May 4, 1966.

Mrs. Knapstad is survived by three sons. Leonard of Pasco. Wash., Howard of Kennewick, Wash., and Glenn of Walla Walla, Wash.; two daughters, Mae Louise Heinrich and Helen Darlene Thornton, both of Seattle; a sister, Hertha Ramstead of Kent; 18 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Fri- day at Short's Funeral Chapel at Moscow. The Rev. James Clement of Troy Lutheran Church will officiate, and burial will be at Moscow Cemetery.
Short's Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
