Margaret Israel Pittman Fitzgerald, 55-Former Jackson County resident,
Margaret Fitzgerald, 55, passed away March 11, 2010, at her home in Columbia, MS. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia. Ms. Fitzgerald was preceded in death by her parents, Carlie Barton and Ruby Lucille Israel; a sister, Betty Jo Fountain; and a brother, CB Israel, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Gena Pittman Heffner (Ashley) and her son, Michael David Pittman; sisters, Earline Parker (Ronald), Valentine Moss, Harriet Lee (Carl), Edna Somerhalder; brothers, James Larry Israel (Dorla), Varnell Israel (Lucille), Bobby Joe Israel (Sandra), also left to cherish her memory are her greatly loved grandchildren, Reid Heffner, Hannah Heffner, David Pittman, and Loren Pittman. She will also be sadly missed by many friends and relatives who loved her gratitude, appreciation for nature, and zest for life. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on April 10, 2010 at 11:00 am at Presley's Outing in Moss Point, MS.
