Gerald "Jerri" Earp Dorman, age 92, of Selma passed away at her home on April 24, 2021. Born in Sampson County on April 10, 1929, she was the daughter of the late James Edgar Earp, Sr. and Lela Pope Earp. Jerri was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. "Bob" Dorman and her son Robert Wayne Dorman.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 28, at 2:00 pm in Selma Memorial Gardens in Selma with Rev. Bill Braswell and Rev. Vernon Braswell officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Surviving are a son, Warren Dorman and Debbie of Selma; daughters, Debbie Blackman and Mark of Southern Pine, June Price and David of Zebulon; daughter-in-law, Joyce Dorman of Myrtle Beach; sisters, Catherine Sexton of Fuquay and Patty Lockamy of Dunn; sisters-in-law, Marinda Earp of Dunn and Pat Earp of Alabama; grandchildren, Beth Wenciker (David), Mark Blackman, Jr. (Rachelle), Patrick Price, Shane Dorman (Lisa), Jeremy Dorman (Casey), Tammy Small (Jeff), and Brian Dorman (Jancy); fifteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
