Connie Lou Peek, 76, Adrian, MO, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO, followed by burial in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO. Connie was born July 3, 1945 in Eads, Colorado, a daughter of Oral D. and Margit G. (Olson) Parker. She was united in marriage to Sammy C. Peek on October 28, 1962 in Eads. They had lived in Peculiar, MO and Osceola, MO before moving to Adrian six years ago. Connie had worked as a lab manager for a number of doctor's offices in Kansas City. She also helped Sam with his mowing service, Sam Peek Mowing Service, for 20 years. Connie enjoyed sewing and crochet, and of course, taking care of Sam. Connie was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents; one son, Stacy; a grandson, Joshua; two brothers, Paul and Gene; four half-sisters and two half-brothers. She is survived by her husband, Sam Peek, of the home; two sons: Sammy Peek (Rita), Peculiar, MO and Troy Peek (Kriss), Maple Grove, MN; five sisters: JoEllen Bullock, Friend, NE; Pat Jones, Pueblo, CO; Lora Bentley, Garden City, KS; Linda Hagins, Carthage, MO; Emma Vocke (Luke), Montrose, CO; two brothers: Jack Parker (Bonnie), Wichita, KS and Norman Parker (Joyce), Dighton, KS; four grandchildren: Cortnie Sanders (Cory), Sedalia, MO; Jacob Peek (Jana), Peculiar, MO; Kaycee Peek and Zackary Peek, both of Maple Grove, MN; three step-grandchildren: Cassie Lillig, Chelsea Lillig (Cody), and Shelby Lillig (Joseph); five great-grandchildren: Travis Sanders, Keaton Sanders, Jayden Peek, Jackson Peek, Teagan Peek; four step-great-grandchildren: Kingston Dukes, Ophelia Lillig, River Watson, and Nash Watson; and many nieces, nephews and cousin
