Miss Myrtle E. Bancroft, 80, of 418 Harding St., died yesterday morning at a Janesville nursing home after a long illness. A life resident of Rock County, she was born May 7, 1887, the daughter of George O. and Diana Leake Bancroft. A member of Cargill Methodist Church, she taught Sunday school there for many years. Surviving are a brother, Elmer D.., Janesville; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Howard, Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Stella M. Lohry, Janesville.
