Harmony, Wis., May 9 - On Sunday morning May 5 at 7:30 o'clock Mrs. Diana Leake Bancroft, beloved wife of George O. Bancroft, passed peacefully to the home beyond, after an illness of but one short week of pneumonia. She leaves besides her husband five children; two boys and three girls. She was a good wife, a faithful mother and a kind friend and neighbor. She will be greatly missed not only in her own home, but in the neighborhood in which she has spent all but a few years of her life. The funeral was held on Tuesday p. m. at two o'clock from her late home, Rev. Woodside speaking comforting words to the family and friends.
