Tim graduated from Richwoods High School, class of 1975. He enjoyed learning and attended the University of Central Florida where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education, Graduating Class of 1999 with Cum Laude Honors. He later worked as a school bus driver for East Peoria Elementary School District # 86. Tim enjoyed traveling across the world including Europe, Australia and Hawaii. While visiting Hawaii he decided to stay and worked as a caterer for several years. Tim loved to play his guitar and listen to Jazz.
Tim is survived by five brothers, Ralph (Lavern) of Nashville, IL, Patrick of Peoria, IL, Paul (Arlene) of Washington, IL, James (Kathy) of Apopka, Florida, and Daniel of Sycamore, IL, and two sisters, Elaine (Larrie) Elser of Sheridan, Montana, and Susan Patten of East Peoria, IL.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, John, and Stephen, and one sister-in-law, Mary Ann Smith.
He was a selfless man of generosity and strength, and was an end-of-life primary caregiver, first for his father, then for his mother, and then for his older brother, John. He assisted greatly in the care of his niece, who was diagnosed with autism at a young age.
He will be laid to rest in a family plot, in Williams Cemetery, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois at a later date.
