Ludgard A. Cheramie, 92, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, LA, passed away on Sunday February 13, 2022.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February23, 2022 from 10:00am until service time at at 1ST Baptist Church of Golden Meadow. A Celebration of life will begin at 11:00am at church with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Ludgard is survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

Ludgard was preceded in death by his parents; Walzie Cheramie and Marie Terrebonne Cheramie, brothers; Lorris, Antoine, Linies Joseph, Norris and Gorris Cheramie, sisters; Paviola Cheramie, Viola Cheramie Bergeron, and Norriscia Cheramie.

Ludgard loved his guitar, listening to Ernest Tubb music, and riding and repairing bicycles. Ludgard was gifted and loved working with wood, he made oil field toys out of wood.

The family would like to thank The Oaks of Houma for taking such great care of him while he was there.
