Antoine R. Cheramie, 79, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, died at 8:56 a.m. April 23, 2003.
Visitation will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery.
He is survived by his brothers, Ludgard, Joseph "Joe" and Lorris "Coon" Cheramie Sr.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Cheramie; parents, Walzie and Josephine Marie Terrebonne Cheramie; brother, Norris Cheramie; and sisters, Norecia and Paviola Cheramie and Viola Bergeron.
