Leslie H. Hopper, 79, died at 6:50 p.m. Friday, April 16, 1999, at Columbus Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Hopper retired from Central Pharmaceuticals in Seymour and was a member of the Hamilton Township Conservation Club and a World War II Army veteran.
Born April 11, 1920, in Lexington, he was a son of Perry Grover Cleveland and Adeline Henry Hopper. Survivors include two daughters, Karen Phillips, Elizabethtown, and Kandy Haddix, Columbus; two
sisters, Pauline "Fanny" Jones; Tampico, and Edna Craig, Bedford; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Ellison; six brothers; two sisters; and a granddaughter. Funeral services were to be. conducted at 10 a.m. today at Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home on Washington Street with burial at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour.
Memorials may be made to Riley Children's Hospital of Indianapolis.
