Fannie Pauline Jones, 82, of rural Crothersville passed away at 2:08 PM Saturday, February 24, 2007, at Schneck Medical Center, in Seymour. She had been residing at Hoosier Christian Village.

Mrs. Jones worked at the former U.S. Shoe factory in Crothersville, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed living on the farm and all the duties and tasks that was being a part of being a farmer's wife including being a talented quilter, canning, and gardening.

On December 26, 1940 in Gassy Fork Township, she married Ivan Clyde Jones who preceded her in death in 1987.

Born May 31, 1924, in Crothersville, IN, she was the daughter of Perry Grover Cleveland and Adeline (Henry) Hopper.

Survivors, a daughter, Velma Lucille Norton, Tampico, IN, daughter in law, Sherry Jones, Crothersville, sister, Edna Craig, Salem, IN, a grandson, Chester Jones, Crothersville, three granddaughters, Pam Mason, Mount Vernon, Kentucky, Betty Pugh, Indianapolis, IN, Jo Ann Fee, Uniontown, IN, fifty nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Marvin Lynn Jones, October 22, 2006, seven brothers, Harry Harrison Hopper, Wesford Hopper, Perry G. Hopper, Jr., Salem Franklin Hopper, Arney Riley Hopper, Emory Theodore Hopper, Leslie Harrison Hopper, three sisters, Daisy Mae Hopper, Edna Mae Hopper, Sally Jane Hopper.
