A funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at Lakewood Funeral Home for Maxine Strean Main, 86, of Hughson. She died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004 at her home.
Burial followed at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born Jan. 15, 1918, Mrs. Main was a native of Oregon and lived in Hughson for 25 years. She previously lived in Oakdale for 22 years. Mrs. Main was a homemaker, and was a member of Denair Friends Church.
She leaves behind her husband, Oran R. Main of Hughson; three children, Randy Main of Texas, Ray Main of Hughson and Pat Coons of Clements; her brother, Kenneth Strean of Molalla, Ore.; her sister, Elma Stahlnecker of Colton, Ore.; and 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
