He was a life member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1191, Waynesboro and was a member of the Waynesboro Fish and Game and the Adams County Fish and Game. Mr. Baker enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with the grandchildren.
He is survived by three children, Michael L. Martin and his wife, Lisa, Darla J. Ryder and her husband, Fred, and Leon "Lee" Baker, Jr. and his wife, Brenda; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; four brothers, Charles E. Baker, Marvin K. Baker, Terry C. Baker and Roger L. Baker; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald E. Baker.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Pastor Lee Daywalt officiating. Burial will follow in Strang's Cemetery, South Mountain.
