Manley Fay
Manley L. Fay, 71, of Waterford, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000.
The son of Manly and Alta Fay, he was a graduate of Alma College and received an EDS in education from Central Michigan University.
He retired from Michigan Public Schools in the Thumb area, where he worked as a band instructor, high school principal and superintendent.
He is survived by a daughter, Ann Fay of Waterford, a sister, Charlotte (Fay) LaPeer of Cass City, and a brother, Stanley (Beverly) Fay of Clarkston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred; a sister, Marjorie (Fay) Pearce; a brother, Gerald Fay, and brother-in-law, Gaylord LaPeer.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 14, at Four Towns United Methodist Church, Waterford, with the Rev. Sharon Niefert and the Rev. Wayne Hawley officiating.

Manley L. Fay, 71, of Waterford died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000. Mr. Fay retired from Michigan public schools in the Thumb area where he worked as a band instructor, high school principal and superintendent. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, 5929 S. Maint St. in Clarkston.
